Stockton, CA
Another city goes by in California but lately these last two
haven’t really felt like California.
Yes, Stockton is the largest inland port in CA, but where we were there
weren’t any palm trees and beaches or really warm weather; instead there was a
chill in the air and an area that had definitely had seen its better day and
age.
However, we were here to make the most of it, so it was time
to go lace up the skates for some extra skating and of course shopping! It was way overdue for a girl’s
day! There was no better place
than here with two shopping malls down the street and they may not have been
grand, but it did just the trick.
And of course with more shopping that also meant a trip to the post
office to send things home. Otherwise,
I don’t think I would be able to even get on a plane; I have become quite the
pack rat this year.
But like anything else, the more you do something the more
you learn and everything prepares you for something to come in the future. All you have to do is open your eyes
and open your mind and you are now at the beginning of a long list of
possibilities and opportunities.
This was just the case for the Denver Broncos in the Super Bowl!
Even though I am biased and am a native Pittsburgh Steelers
fan, it was still nice to have the hype of the Super Bowl buzzing around the
arena while we were doing the show.
And just like that the “vacation week” as it was being
called, with only a total of eight shows, was complete and our travel day
Monday was underway.
A short bus ride later and we arrived at the doorstep of
Sacramento, California.
